Now I want to stay in THIS hotel suite!
The Bryant Park Hotel in New York City, NY had a very special and unusual guest suite created and prepared for the winners of a competition sponsored by the Godiva Chocolate Company.
The hotel along with the Godiva Chocolate company hired designer Larry Able of Los Angeles, CA to create a sweet suite. Everything in the room was either made of or coated in chocolate. Able had worked hard to create something that would not melt at room temperature.
This was the perfect chocolate-lover’s fantasy room. There were hundreds of pounds of chocolate that were used to create this room but the designer did not keep track of the exact amount. Able worked over 1000 hours to create and bring this sweet suite to life for the winner of the competition. His only worry after his work was done, was that the winner would not admire the artwork he had created but instead would try to nibble on all the delectable furnishings.
I would nibble…wouldn’t you?
If I had won I think being in that sweet suite would have made me think I had died and ended up in chocolate heaven!
