Going green before traveling takes on a whole new level when you Freecycle. People who do not want to throw something away, or sell it at a yard sale or on Craig’s List- you can Freecycle. Yahoo groups has a large group of people who recycle by giving away their unwanted items for FREE.

What is Freecycle? It is a grassroots movement to save the earth and all of us a few dollars. People give away to have others reuse what they no longer want or use. Membership is free also (that is a price I can afford). No matter how you look at this idea, the prices is right for everyone – especially those of us saving our money for our next vacation.
