Royal treatment for Los Angeles cruise port passengers

Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines has been cruising for many, many years from the Los Angeles Cruise Port. They have just announced that they will be adding another ship to their fleet there to increase their passenger capabilities in that market.

The Mariner of the Seas, a 137,000 ton voyager class vessel will be begin a new era of cruising for the cruise passengers departing from one of the most popular west coast cruise ports. The voyager class ships for Royal Caribbean are well known for their indoor ice skating rink and their interior Royal Promenade. This class of ship is also 50% larger than any ship that has sailed out of the Los Angeles port and will help with sold out situations for cruise passengers from the west coast.

The Mainer of the Seas will sail the 7 night Mexican Rivera itinerary from Los Angeles. The ports included for this cruise include Cabo San Lucas, Puerto Vallarta and Mazatlan. Cruise reservations for this itinerary starting in 2009 are now open for sale.
