It’s No Fantasy…Carnival Will be Cruising Year Round From Charleston, SC

The Southeastern US will have another year round cruising option with Carnival Cruise Lines announcement that they will be cruising from Charleston, SC beginning May 2010.  Carnival will be positioning their Carnival Fantasy ship out of Charleston beginning May 18th, 2010 with 5, 6 and 7 night cruise itineraries.

The cruise itineraries will alternate with five day voyages departing Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and will call at the ports of Nassau and Freeport Bahamas. The six day voyages will depart on Saturdays  to include the ports of Freeport, Nassau and Key West FL. The seven night itineraries will visit the ports of Grand Turk and the private island of Half Moon Cay and Nassau departing on Saturdays.

With the announcement of having Charleston, SC as a year around port for Carnival Cruise Lines, they now operate year around cruising options from 12 ports in North America.
