I love to travel and I love trivia, so finding out about a book that has been published about Travel Trivia,just sounds too good to be true. A Connecticut based publishing house, called the Intrepid Traveler, is specializing in travel books. One of their most recently published books is called ‘Travia: The Ultimate Book of Travel Trivia’. This is a paperback book that was written by Nadine Godwin, a Travel Weekly Magazine Editor. The book was first a self published book in 2006 but then was picked up by The Intrepid Traveler publishing house and then was reissued.
The book has close to 700 travel trivia tidbits (say that fast 3 times) and has colorful illustrations as well to go along with some of the stories. The book is divided into 12 chapters based on segments such as hotels, aviation, the history of travel, geography and other categories.
I look forward to reading this book in the very near future, since it is available at bookstores now. You never know I may share some of the interesting, funny pieces I am sure I’ll find in the book.
